The world map wall decoration is perfect for filling that one empty wall. Our world map fits every style, taste, and interior as a gorgeous piece of wall decor. Choose from lighter wood types such as oak, bamboo, and poplar, or darker woods such as walnut and rosewood.

The world map is cut from wood with the utmost precision, making every detail of the world visible. All world maps are hand-finished, engraved with country borders (without names), and treated with wood oil to bring out the natural grain of the wood. We use only the finest, highest-quality woods, with a thickness of 10 mm. All wood types are PEFC-certified, the leading label for sustainable wood and responsible forest management.

Which type of world map should you choose?

First, it’s important to decide on which wall the map will be placed. Measure the wall to determine how much space is available. We offer 2 types:

Wooden World Map
We introduced the wooden world map in 2016. This is the original and larger version, available in 2 sizes: 160 cm x 86 cm and 216 cm x 117 cm. For this map, we provide a magnetic hanging system, which makes it float about 1 cm away from the wall after installation, creating a beautiful floating effect. This impressive eye-catcher is available in different wood types:

Wooden World Map DIY
Are you looking for a slightly smaller version? And would you prefer not to drill holes in the wall (which is necessary for the regular version, in order to fix the magnets)? In that case, the DIY World Map is a great option. The back is equipped with strong double-sided tape, making it self-adhesive. Of course, this version also comes with a clear template, making installation a breeze.

How do I hang the wooden world map?

Hanging our world map is surprisingly simple. We developed a magnetic system that allows the world map to hang about 1 cm away from the wall. This creates a 3D effect, making it look even more stunning on your wall! Our magnetic hanging system is suitable for any type of wall. Everything you need to hang the wooden world map is included: from the paper template and instructions to the magnets and wall plugs.

Our DIY version comes with double-sided tape and also includes a template, making installation very easy.
